YPTE – Environmental home learning packs

During each week of the Covid-19 lockdown, the Young People’s Trust for the Environment (YPTE) have issued a new Home Learning Pack to support parents and carers in a range of fun learning and activities to educate on an environmental theme. This week’s pack on Gardening for nature was funded by We Have the POWER and is a great way to ignite a lifelong passion for nature in our young people. YPTE’s website is a fantastic resource for schools and parents keen to help young people understand the environmental challenges we face. Last year We Have the POWER supported YPTE in creating a simple leaflet explaining why the Climate Emergency is a parenting issue, aimed at helping parents understand the importance of the issue for their children’s future.
