We’ll explain how patient loan finance can help Wildlife Trusts and other conservation groups act quickly to secure land and then take time to seek funding from other sources. There are an increasing range of funding and income opportunities available to conservation groups but many only become available once they secure the land.
I’ve now helped the Dorset Wildlife Trust acquire 420 acres here in Dorset and that acquisition happened because I was willing to loan the funds. I’m also working on another potential acquisition locally plus 2 others further afield and looking for others to join me in providing patient loan finance to conservation groups so that they can get on with the urgent task of restoring biodiversity.
