City to Sea – Refill Revolution
Last Updated:

We’re thrilled to be supporting City to Sea again this year and helping power their work to stop plastic pollution at source. Their award-winning campaigns are having a significant impact on reducing pointless plastics on the high-street, in supermarkets and at government level.
Our funding is helping City to Sea to develop their Refill campaign which is putting the power to stop plastic pollution at people’s fingertips, while driving forward the systemic changes needed to move us towards a truly circular economy.
We particularly like their approach – as a small, agile non-profit they’re not bound by processes, but quick to act and with impressive results – this year’s #WorldRefillDay had a potential media reach of ONE BILLION people, and had buy-in from government, retailers, indies and activists around the globe.
They now have almost 250,000 Refill Stations listed on the app too, which is phenomenal. Alongside their Refill campaign, City to Sea are a collaborative organiser in the plastic-free periods campaign space and are working hard with other organisations to ensure legally-binding targets to reduce plastic pollution are adopted by Westminster in the forthcoming Environment Bill.
